The Oyster & Fish House, Lyme Regis
Mark Hix's fish and seafood restaurant offers the most incredible panoramic views of the Jurassic Coast. Serving locally caught fish and shellfish, the restaurant is dog-friendly and also have kids menus and meat options. Booking is advised.
Set within 30-acres of award-winning gardens, Forde Abbey is a popular destination for visitors to the area. A former monastery dating back to the 12th Century, it was later converted into a palatial family home which is now open to the public.
Endless opportunities for coastal walks, fossil hunting, shopping and eating out are just 30 minutes away. Expect stunning beaches and plenty to see and do.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it's no surprise that there are plenty of walks to enjoy in the area.
